  Spicy Thai Lettuce Wraps

2 tbs coconut oil
2 shallots, minced (1 cup)
1 inch piece of ginger, minced
5 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp corriander powder
2 chili peppers, minced
1 lb ground beef, grassfed
2 tbs fish sauce
2 tbs soy sauce
juice of 1 lime
1/2 tsp sesame oil
2 tbs hoisin sauce (optional)
2 green onions, sliced
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp coconut sugar (optional)
large bunch cilantro, washed, chopped
In a large skillet over high heat add coconut oil, then shallots, ginger, garlic, corriander, saute 10 minutes, then add sugar, corriander, white pepper, stir well.

Then add beef in same skillet, cook 10 minutes stirring often, once cooked, add fish sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, seasame oil, hoisin, sugar, green onions, white pepper, mix well, cook 2 minutes.


You can garnish with crushed peanuts, chili sauce, mung bean sprouts to your taste.
